Bill of Lading Review

Pre-release reviews are the key to cost-efficiency. Performed live and within minutes of the Bill of Lading being rated. An average of 99.7% of rate discrepancies and errors are identified and corrected prior to release.

Post-release reviews are performed after the Bill of Lading has been rated and released to the client, and can be done within hours or days after it is printed.

Pre-release

Bill OF Lading review services is performed live and within a specified agreed to time limit. These services are performed within minutes of the Bill of Lading being rated and prior to release to the Customer.

Our experts review the Bill of Lading to ensure that the following are correct:

  • Correct Tariff Item Used
  • Correct Rate Level Used
  •  All applicable additional charges applied
  • Correct Origin and Destination points used
  • All applicable Rules and Regulations applied such as:
    • Overweight Charge
    • Extra Length
    • Equipment Substitution
  • Verify Shipper/Consignee is party to the Service Contract

The reviews are performed at anytime that a BL is rated.

Post-release

Review services would be performed after the Bill of Lading has been rated and available for release to the Client. The review can be performed within hours or days of the printing of the BL’s depending on the desire of the Carrier.

Our experts review the Bill of Lading to ensure that the following were applied correctly:

  • Correct Tariff Item Used
  • Correct Rate Level Used
  •  All applicable additional charges applied
  • Correct Origin and Destination points applied
  • All applicable Rules and Regulations applied such as:
    • Overweight Charge
    • Extra Length
    • Equipment Substitution
  • Verify Shipper/Consignee is party to the Service Contract

Our experts  would also assist in preparing proper Correction Notices (CN) to the Clients when errors are found.
